Bags of garbage

The photos of bags of garbage on this blog do not magically appear. I fill the garbage bag up in 15 min. to an hour and take the bag to be picked up by the city. Most garbage comes from little bits everywhere that add up to one large bag when collected into a group. Photos height and width (March 26, 2024) now match original.

November 27, 2013

Today is the end of my cleaning of public parks for 2013. Why? Because it snowed this morning and it is, and has been too cold out.

I have a few other previous days of cleaning photos to upload.

Like other years I will have to do a round up-single post of the year 2013 cleaning.

I found this jar of mayonnaise, this mayonnaise never went discolored it is so full of preservatives.

Two garbage bags and a chair

Two metal telephones about to go in the garbage bin

At the Cheval Blanc/Whitehorse woods western section I collected two bags of garbage and a collapsible black metal chair on my walk. I also took out two more of the metal telephones to the city garbage bin. The car tire of  the other day had disappeared from the location of the garbage bin , but the first metal telephone was still inside the container. Lucky for me, the two I added this day still were able to fit.

Found dumped bricks and a dumped wheelbarrow in the woods

Dumped bricks and Wheelbarrow next to sign saying "No dumping".

In the woods I found a moped metal frame and assorted parts in the woods.

I found a second moped metal bike frame and brought both to the garbage bin.

I collected this bag of garbage and the back of an old fashioned TV set, and brought it to the garbage bin

The last bag of garbage and assorted bits brought to the garbage bin

This day was a lot of work. I started at the southern edge of the woods in D.D.O. I found the bricks and collected two bags of garbage from that area.

People or contractors have dumped their construction waste here and nothing has been done about it.

During the cleaning of one trail and I found a bunch of plastic and soil buried together.
Someone environmentally minded enough to dump unwanted soil here in the woods did not take the time to extract the plastic from their donation, which I had to do.

The mopeds were located in the woods on the boundary line between two police districts . A smart criminal dumped them here as which police district has to file a report on the bikes?

Camping material

Six bags of garbage close up , at the entrance to Parc des Arbres

At the street, the entrance to Parc des Arbres (the same six bags)

At Cheval Blanc/Whitehorse Rapids woods near the western edge there was a pile of abandoned camping material full of mud. I put it in six garbage bags and took it to the street to be picked up in tomorrows regular Thursday garbage-day pick-up.

On the shoreline I found a glass bottle of "Bellini" and took it to the trash before some children could smash it into a thousand pieces.

They haven`t picked up the tire from the 13th yet.
