Bags of garbage

The photos of bags of garbage on this blog do not magically appear. I fill the garbage bag up in 15 min. to an hour and take the bag to be picked up by the city. Most garbage comes from little bits everywhere that add up to one large bag when collected into a group. Photos height and width (March 26, 2024) now match original.

I cleaned the shoreline behind the French CEGEP Gerald Godin. Some fisherboy opened his newly purchased fishing gear (plastic coated) and dumped all that onto the shoreline. Where he was trying to fish he was actively destroying with garbage. The trash container was half filled with all the trash I had found.

I cleaned at Whitehorse rapids/Rapids du Cheval Blanc. I cleaned up a small amount of garbage. Curiously, a bag full of very high quality stainless steel washers with a inside thread were on the shoreline AND a boat had become stuck on the rocks of the rapids at some time previously to my arrival.

I went to the rapids at Cap St Jacques. I cleaned up a medium amount of garbage from the shoreline. Then when leaving I found some beer containers near the boat dock and took them to the garbage.

Note: I found three dead fish at various distances on the shoreline that I did not know what to do with. They are garbage in that they are stinky, but on the other hand are biodegradable and (likely) the product of the various fisher-boys who fish there.

I cleaned at the western edge of Whitehorse rapids/Rapids du Cheval blanc, under the train-bridge. Someone partially burned their school book in a campfire.

I cleaned the shoreline of Park Paquin. One medium bag size collected. I found a strange plastic bag today, as in the old plastic bag but made thicker.

I cleaned the shoreline of Parc des Anciens-Combattants.
 RDP 220.
I used a bucket to pick up the broken glass.
I took a photo of the bucket half filled with garbage, then I spread the garbage on a black garbage bag and took a second photo. I wonder which photo shows the amount of garbage better?
