I saw three dead voles with not looking for them, one was run over by a car so I didn't take that photo. I don't know what killed them. Worst case could be rabies, so I didn't touch them. These are tiny animals, sorry I forgot to put something in the photo for scale, to judge their size.

The upload and display of photos is too awkward and cumbersome. I have to have a easier way to display photos. Trying to see if Flickr works with blogger.

Update : on my blog montreal beaches, the photos behave as I want them to. You get a line up of them. If I cut and paste the code over to this blog, the photos do NOT line up in a display. I don't know how to fix this because I don't know what is causing it. The browser decides to open the group of photos?

Far west, western Whitehorse/ChevalBlanc rapids.

Shoreline of far west, western Whitehorse/ChevalBlanc rapids. I went down to the water and cleaned the broken glass I could find, then I went to the campfire.

Over ten pounds of garbage

Illegal campfire with broken glass.

I had cleaned this a few years back, then the campfire makers came back and remade the mess, so I gave up on the spot. I have not seen any recent activity, so I will attempt to clean the garbage up once again.

My cameras battery died, but I brought the ten pounds of garbage to a regular garbage depot.

On my arrival I found this bottle.

I found an insane amount of fishing line which can not be photographed.

The shoreline had a lot of fishing line on it. Multiple times I thought I had finished cleaning up the fishing line, when I found more.
One regular fisherman/boy has a bunch of trash/garbage in the location he fishes at. I am undecided if I should clean this area or not, as he was in the location this day I passed him by.
As I was leaving the shoreline I found the ? boiler metal pipe that can be seen above my work gloves.

I cleaned the right hand side of the shoreline. Some guy came with a water pump and pumped river water up into the park above and across the street.

Second cleaning, after the ducks/ducklings had left I cleaned the left hand side of the shoreline.

Guy walking away after pissing in the bush. No toilets at the park. Wonder why the water quality is bad some days?
