Bags of garbage

The photos of bags of garbage on this blog do not magically appear. I fill the garbage bag up in 15 min. to an hour and take the bag to be picked up by the city. Most garbage comes from little bits everywhere that add up to one large bag when collected into a group. Photos height and width (March 26, 2024) now match original.

August 17, 2020

Late this afternoon I was at Whitehorse Rapids or Rapids du Cheval Blanc sitting on a rock, on the shoreline just east of the official park. I witnessed people walking their dogs.
"No problem" you think? This one guy and his dog walk back and forth in the same area for about fiften minutes. I did not pay any attention to what they were doing, just noticed the amount of time and wondered what he was looking for.
Later when I walked back to the area, I found out that he was not looking for anything, he was letting his dog do what dogs do.
So I leave the area and go to the official park and the guy is there at the benches. I confront him on the dog doo I found and he says he doesn't see for dog doo, doesn't LOOK for dog doo.
I wonder is this was the same asshole I confronted in early spring one time, who did not clean up after his dog. They know there is no punishment so they let the dog poop there at the park.
I am going to have to wear a body video-camera and post their faces to YouTube and Facebook, maybe someone knows them and will shame them.

Flower on the shoreline

A group of ducks on the shoreline going upstream

At the entrance to the park Canadian geese loved to eat the tall grass in the island.

Got some garbage? where?

You can see it now?

Monkey hid their glass bottle in the side of the fallen tree.

The garbage I cleaned this day, three glass bottles I found near or on the shoreline.
