See no evil monkey. |
September 2020
I went to the north west corner of Bois-de-Liesse park, and found one of the two entry points closed. All kinds of garbage on the edge-border of the park where the monkeys try to get rid of their garbage.
Second place was at the Rapids du Cheval woods, people or contractors dumped their garbage on the edge-border.

I was at the Falaise St Jacques in the city of Montreal and found evidence of the monkeys, specifically the see no evil monkey.
There are hundreds of tires in the official green-space park of Montreal.
Monkeys throw the car tires down from high above. Out of sight out of mind. The park can not complain / there is no one to defend the park.

The solution would be to put up a six foot or higher fence to stop those disposing of their car tires.
If you are confused, the slope at the opening of the fence is extreme. The steepness of the grade is at maximum and you can not see down very easily. Walking down is extremely dangerous due to the steepness. I came across the pile of tires from the east, from inside the park at a lower level that is relatively flat and safe to walk on.
P.S. At the official entry to the park ( that's locked and grown over) the adjacent land owners cut down a lot of mature trees. Why? I don't know. Do they hate nature? What they don't know is that hundreds of thousands of mosquitoes are breeding in the hundreds of tires ( that have rainwater in them). So in this instance of "Its not my problem" is false if they have a lot of mosquitoes in the summer.
