Tried cutting the metal on the sewer pipe, but it did not work. The sub-metal place holder does cut with the boltcutters though.
Water level is high, five inch's high approximately, so I need rubber boots to work there.
I have an idea metal fatigue might work. Bolt cut off the supporting metal, then bend the band back and forth until the metal fatigues and snaps off. I would be a bunch of work, but maybe better than a hacksaw.
Alternately I could bring a cutting power tool of some kind with a power supply and power inverter-converter.
I have a broken sawz-all kind of tool that I hope to fix, otherwise I think its like $200.00 for a new sawz-all. I have a weak reciprocal saw I might try.
