Bags of garbage

The photos of bags of garbage on this blog do not magically appear. I fill the garbage bag up in 15 min. to an hour and take the bag to be picked up by the city. Most garbage comes from little bits everywhere that add up to one large bag when collected into a group. Photos max size 1600 × 1200 pixels

I cleaned at Whitehorse rapids/Rapids du Cheval Blanc. I found garbage and glass bottles on the shoreline.

This is probably the last time I am going to clean this year as snow and very cold temperatures are coming.

With most of the leaves fallen, it is now easy to see the garbage that was previously hidden.

I cleaned along the trail in the woods of Whitehorse Rapids/ Rapids du Cheval Blanc, the northern east-west trail. The trail is very overgrown. Pants and jacket/long-sleeve should be worn to protect oneself from the vegetation.

I took a video of insects, maybe bees having a grand time on a bunch of wild flowers that are along the trail. LINK HERE.

I didn't have to put on mosquito repellent , and it was too hot in my jacket. A large amount of material was collected. My hands were full and I could carry no more.

After a break I cleaned up a bit more, four white plastic bags floating in the bay just west of the park, (quite an eyesore) and cleaned up a campfire that left some 2 X 4's.

Today I cleaned the shoreline at Roxboro Island going westward to Whitehorse rapids. One standard garbage bag of garbage was cleaned. I had to leave behind , two broken plastic chairs, a broken inflatable boat five feet tall, a very large plastic tarp, a palate of wood, for the size and weight of the items.

My regular computer had serious performance issues this year so that is the reason I did not post regular photos this year. This winter I expect to have the time to put this 2022 summers nature and cleaning photos on the blog.
