Bags of garbage

The photos of bags of garbage on this blog do not magically appear. I fill the garbage bag up in 15 min. to an hour and take the bag to be picked up by the city. Most garbage comes from little bits everywhere that add up to one large bag when collected into a group. Photos height and width (March 26, 2024) now match original.

I cleaned at Whitehorse rapids before the cold and snow settled in. One bag of summer beer cans, fishing line, and (glass) hard liquor bottle was cleaned. I found a collection of glass beer bottles but they will have to wait until spring because I had no way to carry them.

The garbage I cleaned up/took out of the woods/shoreline, next to the city garbage container.

More garbage (glass bottles) that I had to leave for springtime clean up. EDIT April 26, 2021 Someone picked up the glass bottles and left the rotten cardboard.

A bay on the eastern shoreline of Whitehorse rapids/Rapids du Cheval Blanc.

I declare an end to the cleaning for 2020. I may end my cleaning perminantly, because the garbage I have been cleaning at the end of  the summer IS INTENTIONAL. Intentional because it is the same garbage in the same location every week.

An alcoholic(s) goes to this shoreline location on a regular basis and drinks"Absolut Vodka". I have lost count of the number of these glass bottles I have cleaned up.

I was cleaning with the idea that most of the garbage was accidental.

The animals-pigs-monkeys that leave their plastic and glass garbage behind on a weekly basis will see/not see the results of their behaviour. I'm betting "will not see". If they do see the garbage (and don't like it), they just relocate to a new place and mess that one up.

I feel sorry for God's creatures that live on the shoreline and know the land as their home and have to live with the garbage.

Next year COVID19 will hopefully be over and I will go to different locations.

The garbage I cleaned up on Nov 11 ,about to go into the NEW city container. (Thanks for the official city container!)

Cleaned at the new dock in Pierrefonds, also known as Parc des Anciens-Combattants. Household sewage is on the shoreline.

Three fishing hooks that I, you or any animals would not want to step on, a large amount of fishing line and household sewage.

I cleaned at park of Anciens Combattants/ the new marina.

01 On the way to Anciens Combattants, the sign on Lalande street indicating a park and the posted rules.

02 On Lalande street looking at the river/bay.

03 On Lalande street looking at the water skiing area in the river/bay.

04 The shoreline as I arrived, a Heron is in the distance.

05 Heron on shoreline looking for food.

05a Shoreline east of the park.

05b The new boat dock to get on/off your boat.

06 First batch of garbage I cleaned up , wide angle. At the boat dock there was about fifty rusted screws on the shoreline, besides countless beer bottle tops, that are in the white bucket.

07 On the shoreline I found parts of an engine, a gear, a valve head, a spark plug.

08 Fishing line

09 Where I found the engine parts on the shoreline. The old boat launch was located nearby. They moved the (new) boat launch west .

Monkeys throw their garbage in the bushes.
 I did not clean it.

13 The second batch of garbage I cleaned from the shoreline.

14 I found on the shoreline a plastic tampon applicator, tooth-flosser and (missing) disposable razor head. Indicating household sewage is going into the river.
