Sound or a Noise? A noise is a sound that is unpleasant that you can not get away from ( no escape) or stop yourself from hearing.
1) Defining sound or noise by science and the law. July 1, 2016: All Ontario employers must comply with new noise regulation

2) The BEEP BEEP BEEP you hear everyday. The unintended consequences of laws to protect workers. Today we have technology that could eliminate this noise problem, but there is no financial incentive to upgrade warning systems.

The solution, a more expensive warning device.

How to deal with the feeling of anger when hearing noise.
1) First you have to think of the noise as a sound. A sound is a vibration of molecules at a certain frequency, a frequency you happen to perceive.
2) Convert the feeling of anger into humor. In the case of the "Beep beep beep" machines, I think of them as animals in heat, or in the mating season. Many animals do outrageous feats in order to attract a mate when it is mating season.
I say out loud to myself or to anyone within hearing, " Oh it is mating season for assholes!" when I hear the "beep, beep, beep" . "An asshole is trying to find another asshole to mate with." Then get myself out of the hearing distance of the machinery warning sound/noise.
