I cleaned the eastern edge of Whitehorse rapids. I took out one bag of collected garbage from the shoreline. The second bag in the photo is the work of another person , I assume "Joe".

I took out one of the two bags in the photo. The next day ( Thursday) city garbage services removed it.

I cleaned at Whitehorse rapids/Rapides du cheval blanc. Two garbage containers on the shoreline that were full had to be brought to the regular trash.

I cleaned the shoreline of Whitehorse/Rapides du Cheval blanc. In  a previous post http://montrealpollution.blogspot.ca/2016/08/august-22-2016.html I had two photos of the garbage on the shoreline, most of the garbage in the photos is now picked up.

I cleaned at Park Paquin. One bag of garbage was collected. This is the last time I will clean Park Paquin. The amount of bags of dog feces I find sickens and angers me, but the final straw was the oily water coming out of the city pumping station.

I cleaned the eastern shoreline of Whitehorse rapids/Cheval Blanc rapides. There was a collection of garbage that had to be bagged and brought to city garbage containers. The shoreline has many pieces of tiny plastic on it that I can not and did not pick up.

I cleaned the shoreline of Cap St Jacques, southwest of the Farm. One bag of garbage was collected. Unusual items were two diapers left on the the picnic table ( If you use a picnic table to eat at, put a cloth down first.)

I cleaned the shoreline at Park des Anciens Combattants. One large bag of garbage and a second smaller one.

DON'T DRINK THE RAW RIVER WATER. A dead animal in the water. Larger than a cat, so I would guess a raccoon.With a stick I pulled it ashore. I expect flies-maggots to eat it in a few days. I did not have the proper gloves/shovel to handle the disposal.
