Bags of garbage

The photos of bags of garbage on this blog do not magically appear. I fill the garbage bag up in 15 min. to an hour and take the bag to be picked up by the city. Most garbage comes from little bits everywhere that add up to one large bag when collected into a group. Photos height and width (March 26, 2024) now match original.

Ducks on a fallen tree/log.

Cleaned up at RDP 190 on Roxboro Island. The shoreline is full of broken glass and I cleaned up east of the fireplace , walking towards the fireplace. Still much more broken glass to be picked up.

Cheval Blanc/Whitehorse rapids

I found two adult Canadian geese and two adult white geese hanging out together with five hatch-lings on the shoreline. I think the hatch-lings are the Canadian geese's from the bottom photo.

I am lucky I found these used glass beer bottles before they were smashed by children.

At Cheval Blanc/Whitehorse Rapids park this morning I cleaned up some broken glass from the shoreline, and found a box of glass beer bottles. I put it all in the garbage.

A glass deposit is cheaper to pay for than an aluminum one, so the drunks buy glass bottles.

Someone in government has to fix this cost inequality, as the glass bottles are broken for the entertainment value rather than returned for deposit.

Blue residue after power-washing

On the southern side of RDP 200 the homeowner ( no-Johnson-rod guy) used a power washer the other day and flooded the land with something containing blue. The blue residue still exists on the ground.

At Roxboro-Pierrefonds woods I collected a bag of garbage and took out some brick and wood that are obviously UN-natural to the woods.
Strange white plant?

During my cleaning I found this strange white object. I have never seen anything like it. I broke off a strand assuming it was plastic, but it seems to be a plant of some kind.
